I’ve been working on minimizing my tech notifications overload. I started by first reorganizing my home screens to pulls apps out of folders. I’m less prone to tap in to check them if I know precisely what app the badge is for. Also, turned off badges on apps that make no sense for me to have on. And, finally, I limited my watch notifications. I used to get Messages notifications on it. Turning those alone off has been a game-changer for me.

As a younger lad, I once got the tetanus vaccine. The shot rendered my arm effectively useless for a day but I played wiffleball with a neighbor friend all the same. I hit a home run with one arm.
